The first time i heard about the democracy in 5th standard. The subject was getting children know about the independance strugle and the people who played the part in it.
Now if we go back to find the roots of democracy then we find it emerged from england. Our freedom fighter who studied in england first came across such way governance.
In my last two years of stay in england gave me opportunity to know and study how it works. I was bit confused and surprised to know that our great freedom fighter has missed something.

Lets come back to our situation before the british rule. There was king and he used to take care of its subjects. This way of governing has been tested and used for thousands of years. British were caring for their people back home so they tried every possible way to loot india.
Now after they gone we were having same thinking as last thousands of year. The 80 % of population was still illitrate( its describe as not known how to live like british) as we were going to adapt the way britishers to govern ourself it was big gamble taken by our freedom fighters.

If we look at the todays situation then gamble has half paid as we have taken only one part of

governance structure. We can find all the answer of our problem which were facing and can rectify them.
First we will look at the problems which we are facing.
1. Corruption
2. Aimless youth
3. No self respect
4. Dont know self rights
